Trip up North

On Friday our family headed up North for a little vacation to visit with friends and family. Cianna was a wonderful traveler and didn't seem to mind the the plane ride at all! Our first stop was Sacramento where we had a nice visit with our friends Dave and Amy. From there, our second stop was Lodi where we stayed the night at the Coldani's. They are great friends from college and they have a 6 month old little girl Giada and Cianna finally got to meet her. Mike and Julie made us a fabulous dinner, the babies were able to bond a little bit, and then after the babies went to bed we were all able to catch up and visit and Julie and I had a nice time chatting over baby talk...haha and the guys even got to play the Wii for awhile. It was a really nice night!

On Saturday we got up and went to breakfast and from there we went to visit another friend Bre and her baby girl Peyton. It was really cute to see all of the baby girls together...so many babies!! We wish we could all live a little bit closer to each other but we were really thankful to have made the trip and we thank the Coldani's for letting us stay with them, we had a great time.

After our visit in Lodi we headed towards Boonville to see Eric's family. We all had a really nice dinner on Saturday night and were able to visit for awhile before we went back to our hotel to put Cianna to bed. The newest addditions to the family (Cianna and Samuel) had not met yet so it was nice to finally all be together.

Sunday morning we attended church where Eric's dad gave Cianna a blessing. It was really beautiful and we were so thankful that James was willing to do that for Cianna. She truly is our little blessing and we all just love her to pieces.

After church we went to the Cannon's house for a delicious dinner and more family visiting time.

On Monday we went to Auntie Debbi's house for a day of fun! Eric and Debbi were kind of enough to watch all of the babies while Auntie Laura and I went to the nail salon. When we got back the kids spent some time in the kiddie pool while all of us took pictures and admired all of them...they are all too cute for words! We all had a really pleasant day and again, the visiting time was really nice.

Later that night Eric, Cianna and I went over to Philo to visit Grandma Vivian, take some pictures with the Philo sign and to visit with Grandpa before we left.

We ended the trip on Tuesday with breakfast with Laura and the kiddies.

We had a wonderful trip and Eric and I even got the chance to have a little bit of quiet time while Cianna was sleeping. Our hotel room had a nice balcony so we enjoyed one evening outside talking to each other and recognizing how lucky we are to have such great family and friends in our life. Thank you everyone for such a nice little trip!
