Well, we got through the first week and we are having a lot of fun with little Miss Cianna. The first couple of days were definitely an adjustment but we are slowly getting more of a routine down. Cianna is sleeping quite well and seems to like her bassinet so mommy and daddy are getting some sleep. Eric is off of work this week as well so he has been a huge help. I am definitely taking advantage before he has to go back to work next Tuesday. We had some visitors during the week; Mike and Melinda brought us dinner and dessert one night and Eric's sister Debbi was with us until Friday night and boy, was she a big help! We were able to make a trip to Target yesterday and we have been out on a few walks so life is good! We had a our first doctors appointment on Friday and Cianna checked out just fine...we go back next week to check her weight but she is eating quite well so I am sure she will check out just fine.
This weekend my parents came back down to visit and my very close girlfriends Julie, Jen, and Jamie came to visit as well. My brother was also here which is always great! I forgot to mention in the last blog entry that he was a huge help while Eric and I were in the hospital; he watched Tobin for us and we can't thank him enough. It was so nice to see all of them and I am so glad they got to spend some time with Cianna. She has many, many honorary aunties- she is very lucky. My parents cooked us a great dinner on Saturday night for all of us and our local friends Chad and Julie joined as well. It was so great to be surrounded by a great group of friend and family, it was a great day!
