Dean Family: December Nights, Tree Decorating and a Birthday Party!

This weekend was a fun one at home. On Saturday morning, we had an appointment at Kiddie Kandids (at Babies r Us) for Cianna to get some pictures taken. Not sure we will be doing that again- we got there right on time but they were running WAY behind, therefore we were there for an hour before they were ready for us which= a tired little girl who wasn't really in the mood to have her picture taken. Anyway, we got a few cute ones but I was not a happy camper when we left there :(.

After that little experience, we came home so Cianna could take her nap and once she woke up, we went and picked out our Christmas tree!

After we brought the tree home we got ready for our next outing. We decided to check out "December Nights" at Balboa Park with the Huntoon's. We all piled in Eric's truck and headed downtown. As we kind of figured- it was quite difficult to find parking. We drove around for awhile and then decided to park at Solar (Eric's work) because there was a shuttle going back and forth from there to Balboa Park so we wanted to check that out. Well, the line was VERY long and we thought the girls would never last, so we decided to walk along the harbor instead for a little bit and then grabbed some dinner.

There were some pretty lights on the boats, so we stopped to take a pic.

So, we walked back to the car and decided to give the parking another shot since a couple hours had gone by and it looked like some spots were opening up. We really wanted to see what all the hype was all about! We ended up finding a spot and we unloaded (again) and started our walk...it was kind of a long one.

Well, we all thought that "December Nights" was a bit over-rated but it was nice to get out and get into the holiday spirit a little bit. Cianna slept through everything- probably best because there were a lot of people there!!

Both girls were out when we got back to the car and they both slept all the way home and our fam went straight to bed when we got home-long day!

This morning we hung around the house until we headed out to Mady's Birthday party in Carlsbad.

Cianna stil loves playing with and in other people's car seats :)
