On Saturday, we met with our friends Barbara and Greg for breakfast at our favorite spot (The Original Pancake House)- yum yum and we had a really nice time. After breakfast, we headed to the park to meet up with Eric's friend Scott (from college) and this wife and their little girl Sydney. The girls had a great time playing, while us adults had fun cathing up. Before we knew it, it was time to head home for some lunch and a nap (well, Cianna got a nap). I took care of a few things while Eric finished baby proofing- yay!!
Saturday evening we headed to the mall to do a little shopping and then had some dinner- overall a pretty great Saturday.
This morning we got up and headed over to Miramar Lake for a nice little walk. We definitely had to take advantage of the gorgeous weather today and spend some time outside. The walk was great and then we thought we would go cool off in the pool for a bit. Cianna had the best time! The last time Cianna was in the pool was last summer and she was still so litte so, it was a lot of fun to watch her today. She was splashing and kicking around- I think she even wore Eric out. She loves, loves, loves the water!

We ended the day with a trip to the market and a nice dinner at home. It was really nice to have some quality time as a family this weekend...I didn't want it to end.
Oh, we also decided that we are going to run a 10k on the Fourth of July (we just have to check and see if they allow strollers). It's right in our neighborhood and should be a good time. Guess that means I need to start running a little more...
